Curated an outdoor Hip Hop brunch for 500 people.

How about some beats with your bacon?

To close out the summer (well, half summer) in Winnipeg, I curated a hip hop brunch party at a local beer garden which featured a 4-course meal by Winnipeg’s Chef Ben Kramer, with a headlining performance by Canadian turntable legend, Skratch Bastid.

We had surprise local guests and support throughout the day, including Kilusan, Anthony OKS and Malcolm Jay, and our friends at Hennessy welcomed each guest with a fruity breakfast cocktail.

Boogie ‘N’ Brunch was planed in a little over a month, and in that time I booked the chef, all of the talent, handled the advance, secured cash and in kind liquor sponsorships, menu/merch designs, and everything in between.
