Hosted a community BBQ pop up for 150+ for Friday Knights Summer 2021 release.

 

When restrictions began lifting in Winnipeg, I was gearing up to release the summer collection for my brand, Friday Knights. Since I had been running product releases exclusively online for all of 2021, I wanted to give back to our community instead of just flooding the streets with new product.

I woke up on a Thursday and decided to plan a BBQ for Sunday. We bought 50 lbs of BBQ pork, brought out a few homies to DJ and served up over 150 banh mi sandwiches to friends, family, and fans.

It wouldn’t have been complete without a pop up shop in a tent which had a line up for most of the day.
